Description
Piston-powered and combat-tough. The tough and versatile A-1 Skyraider was among the final piston-powered, prop-driven fighter aircraft produced just before the dawn of the "Jet Age." Distinguishing features of the "AD-6" variant included a low/high altitude bomb detector, a 14/30 inch bomb ejector and three dive brakes.
